Privacy Policy

Modelease is built privacy-first. Your releases, photos, and signatures are stored on your device and the app works completely offline. We run no server and we never receive your release data.
On-device first
Everything you capture in Modelease — subject and shoot details, dates of birth, signature images, and subject photos — is stored locally on your iPhone (in the app's on-device database). Capturing, signing, generating a PDF, and exporting all work with no network connection. This data is not sent to us, and we have no way to read it.
Data about the people you photograph
Model, property, and talent releases necessarily contain personal information about your subjects (and, for minors, their guardians). When you use Modelease, you are responsible for the personal data you collect from your subjects and for having the right to collect it. Modelease only stores that information on your device — and, if you turn on iCloud backup, in your own private iCloud — and never transmits it to us or any third party.
Optional iCloud backup (Premium)
If you enable iCloud backup, your releases are synced through your own private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. This keeps your data in Apple's iCloud under your control — we operate no server in this path and cannot access the contents. iCloud backup is off by default and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Purchases
If you buy Modelease Premium, the purchase is handled by Apple and processed through RevenueCat, which manages purchase validation and "Restore Purchases." RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user identifier and purchase status used only to deliver and restore your purchase — it is not linked to your identity and is not used to track you. Because of this purchase processing, Modelease is not labeled "Data Not Collected" in the App Store. Apple handles all payment details; we never see your card or financial information. No tracking, no analytics, no ads
Modelease contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party trackers. We do not build a profile of you and we do not sell or share your data.
Children
Modelease is a professional tool for photographers and is not directed at children. It can capture a minor's release on behalf of the photographer, with a guardian signature — but that information stays on your device (and your own iCloud, if enabled) exactly like any other release. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children ourselves.
Your control
You can delete any release in the app at any time, and exported PDFs, CSVs, and ZIP archives are created on demand and shared only where you choose to send them. Deleting the app removes its on-device data; data you have separately exported or backed up to your iCloud is under your control.

If we change how Modelease handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect in a new app version.
